What time do you guys usually start showing up on Fridays? I was there from about 2 until 5 today, but didn't see anyone except for a few people skateboarding near the entrance.

When it isn't friday, are there any other places you guys go other than the park?

Hey man, sorry for confusion we where talking about watchtower session.
The rips start at 8.
And today was a big day so only few guys showed up to the rip.

We sometimes skate Sundays Wednesdays at watchtower hill.

Look for the big watchtower building in downtown Brooklyn (the one that has the temperature and time on top of it). The hill is right next to the bulding (it goes under the bridge between the two parts of the building).

Just be respectful to the people there and clean up your garbage etc.

hi everyone, i'm new to the Fish and wanted to say whats up. this is my 1st post and was wondering if the events posted in this thread are only for earthwing riders? i have a loaded board. i'm primarily looking to find some spots in NYC that ppl ride, i'm new to longboarding and have never skateboarded so i'm looking to learn as much as possible from the veterans.

the earthwing riders beat me up and took my lunch money for riding a loaded. they wrote "i'm adam's biotch" on my face in magic marker. i hid in my apartment for weeks. i still go out on my vanguard, but i'm always looking over my shoulder nervously. i finally gave in and bought a boomerang for my own safety and peace of mind.

but seriously . . . just come out to the park on a Friday night.

Hey everyone! Im Juan (the tall guy from Uruguay [Loaded]) and ive been going to the friday sessions for some time now..
Ok, so Im going to do a short documentary on longboarding, focusing mainly in NYC and I need all the help i can get! The idea is to go shoot this friday at the park and get some interviews and nice shots of all kinds and all angles.

I will be at the rip this friday around 8pm just chilling. I cracked a few ribs in my back and pinched a nerve when I taco wrapped a pole and barbed wire at Vernon (California mountain 1 hour from sac, not the BC one) two weeks ago, but I'll still skate a bit

Chris I just got back from the doc, my false (lower) right ribs were broken and are still healing. They can't do anything about the nerve/thats because im not a fan of surgery


P.S I need a ride to the slide comp, I will be covering it for SF front page, I can kick in some gas money. Someone hit me up plzzz
