As usual, we started to get goofy as the night went on yesterday, so the logical thing to do was play a game of slide bowling - thanks to Mike -d(pyrate). We set up bowling pins made up keg cups, and each rider had two chances to act like a human sliding bowling ball and knock 'em all down. I was having too much fun, and laughing too hard to pay attention, but I think Jessica won. More photos will be posted later. Good times, good times...

we're gonna do slide bowling on the regular from now on....

So when is the NYC crew gonna venture out to Jersey for some real hills?!

zogs, logistics are the hardest part, getting everyone organized to take a bus to Westwood and then skate over to Hillsdale (trains don't run to Hillsdale on weekends, which sucks). it'd be great to skate those hills again -- Pyrate definitely needs to slide Liberty. maybe i'll see if everyone is up for a Sunday trip...

If you guys take a bus out to Jersey Please let me know, and I'll take you on tour. You can also take the Train to Hawthorne, there's big hills around there too. Ned's seen a few, and I found a few more since then. We should really try to set something up soon. If you guys take a train or bus in we could probably get at least two or three cars that we can cram everyone into and take you around to some sick hills.

Can't rip this Friday, you guys have fun.

a great call, Sensei... the train goes to Hawthorne on weekends. maybe we could set up another Sunday morning Garage session (see if Fats and the original crew from last year could go), then hit some hills, the quarry, and Bob's Fatass run??? find a sliding hill too.

The hills in Hawthorne are great for sliding, and if your sliding, there's alot of them. Same pavement as Prospect Park. Then there's Liberty, with the same deal, also good for some high speed bombing. We can start the day in Hawthorne and then hit Liberty, and then end it all on Sibbald so you can all crap your shorts before you leave our fair state

Lets set a date though, so I can see how many guys like Beef can drive, so we can cram all you guys into our cars. I'll also see if I can get everyone's favorite Fatass and Scooter to make an apperance. Maybe even that Iacosmelli guy.

that sounds like a plan, especially while the weather's perfect... so yeah, bounce around some date options with your Jersey/CT comrades and find a good date, and I'll coerce all the hipsters here.

I'll kick around the idea on the NJ site tonight (unfortunatly it doesn't work here at work) and get back to you Ned. I'll make a seperate thread about it here. If Boe and Beef are reading this, maybe you guys can start the thread "over there". And start thinking of some dates. Espeacally you Boe, since your schedule is crazy with all the Hostess and Etimans conventions and whatnot.

sweet! you guys set it up and ill be there!! not this sunday though... i have to do a photo shoot in bklyn in the afternoon and with luck next sunday several of us will be in montreal.

as for fri (tomorrow) ill be there for sure. i havent been able to get out to skate all week so ill be there even if its pouring (hopefully it wont be)
