Trucks, hmmm.....hopefully I will find mega hills in Newpaltz/Hunter NY tonight/tomorrow/the next day and then I will (if crappysurfer gets back to me on it) hopefully get to rip some of PA's hills saturday/sunday ish.

if any of you guys still have any energy left after tonights rip you should come out and skate with the long island crew tomorrow. We're meeting at 12:30 at Marshals (565 jericho tnpke in Syosset). There should be a prety good turn out and we have some prety nice hills for carving and sliding. I'll see anyone who comes at 12:30

hey LI Skaterdude, you should come out to the rip tonight; it's an easy ride into Woodside, Queens and I'm driving out to Brooklyn so you could catch a ride to the park. That goes for anyone from Long Island.

I really wanted to go to my first rip tonight but its my mom's birthday so i have to go out with the family. I go back to school next saturday so next friday is my last chance before summer to make it to a rip, so i really hope i can make it next week. What kind of skating do you guys mainly do?? I just want to know what setup to bring.

mostly slides, carves and some downhill drafting (28mph); sometimes james grace will set up slalom cones but he's been out for a while (we need to track him down soon). and james soladay and earthwing brian do crazy manuals down the hill. it's kind of a hodge-podge of riding styles. we swap boards around alot too. try to make it out next friday if weather is still pretty good.
