hey NYC guys, my spring break is coming up and im doing college visits, it looks like trhere is a open house at pratt, its not concrete but i may be going, id like to set up a skate session afterwards, i wouldnt mind prospect park as long as there is a decent turn out, id like to get something organized!!

i'm thinking about hitting up Prospect Park late afternoon (4/5pm???); i'll be at the Brooklyn Banks starting around 1pm with my slalom board, then cruise around the city. lemme know if anyone wants to meet up at any time.

jess, i'm supposed to shoot a band saturday night at 10pm so i can't make the garage session. sucks.

Don't get excited, these won't be out for a while, but what do you think of these shapes for the:

33.25x9 pool/slide deck (thermoplastic/5 ply maple)
6 7/8 nose
15.5 WB
6.5 (ish) tail

29.5x7.75 street concave mini
14" WB
5" nose
6 3/8" tail

This one will be a sort of flexy with a 4 ply core, and s/glass top, and bottom sheets. Super freaking light, and thin. Probably a great deck for a tiny vert ripper, or a fun flexy mini for normal size people.

I think they both look great, but I think maybe the mini could use a little more tail taper if it's really going to be used as a mini....but, of course, if used as a small park board...then I would keep the tail.
