Ned - I'm down for the Banks. Any other spots worth checking out? My brother was going to check that skatepark in Brooklyn, I think its Owl's Head or something? Is it decent? I've never really gone around the city much so any help with train lines to take and ish would be apprecited. MikeD - where in Brooklyn are you at? Anywhere near the campus for Pratt?

haha. remind me to tell you my funny story from when i lived near pratt a few years ago. cant post stuff like that here. lol
i live in bushwick, not far, but not close either. if you look on a train map i'm by the "morgan" stop on the L line
looking forward to sliding with you again man!

What non NYC guys would call horse crap. lol Eh we Friday night crew people do alright, but the hills are really not that steep. About owls head..... its a nice park, I really like it...... great bowl..... And uhh if guys are skating count me in! Thanks

hey sofa K, i've been meaning to check out owl's head for a while; martin siegrist went out to owl's head right before we skated jersey, and he said it was fun -- just 3 people were there when he skated on a friday morning. BUT, you have to share the spot with BMX, and apparently it's a little crowded on weekends.

Sounds good. I guess I can work on my standing slides that right now I only do on the flats

? I'm definitely down to hit up the Brooklyn Banks on Friday before the RIP, maybe check out Owl's head on the weekend or I'll probably end up chilling with my brother on the weekend. I'll try to convince him to come out to the rip, too.

lets plan now to hit up the bigger hill on the other side of the park the night yer in town sofa king, ive been wanting to go back there. its the hill dahl, crappy, worm and i skated in the earthwing video. sadly its the best thing around, lol!

There is a cut through straight there from the hill we normally skate. Plus we gotta hit up 23rd street by the cemetery. Better yet lets rip in the cemetery on fri the 13th, the hills are gnarly and spooky. very, very spoooky.

cant make the jersey jumpoff tomorrow and i wanted to hook up with some people(and get some nyc skating in) before the broadway bomb.
i'd also love to take a look at the new supercharger proto, if possible?

great session last night, folks! lots of nifty fandango rippin by the crew.

my favorite highlights of the evening:

*Jam vs. JamesGrace in side-by-side slalom (let the games begin!)
* andrew gellis' 1-footed manuals, primos, handstands, freestyle
* earthwing slide wheels (soooo nice)
* Triple-8 slideglove prototype testing
* "boardless" slides
* pit bull vs. horse (that dog will win in a fight)

can't wait to see some pics from last night.

my dad just pulled a muscle running so im not gonna be up there for about 3 weeks probably. but that gives me enough time to practice some slides and try out the superglider i just ordered.

i just got the board from brown santa. its soooo nice. ill try to post some pics of the complete. its curently gripless cuz im waiting for some clear grip from MHS. its a killer deck brian!
