If I can make it, I could get into running some hills in Oyster Bay, it's also in the middle of everyone so I think it's easier than Port Washington (gives us more time to skate!). Where would we meet up?

If you want to meet up, maybe we could meet at Marshall's or Barnes and Noble ( i think ) on Jericho Tpke. in Syosset. LIE to 135 north ( Seaford Oyster Bay Expy. ) to Jericho Tpke. west.(the very last exit ). Go about 2 lights on your right you will see the shopping centers. I'll meet you there. 516 650 5729 at 6:00. Let me know if anyone is interested. We can skate some nice hills in Oyster Bay. If anyone from the city wants to come out I will gladly meet them at Syosset station as close to 6:00 as possible.
....bad news, I'm not going to be able to make it this weekend. My brother is in from Cali and we're doing family stuff. If you guys ride, have a good one! I'm definately into checking out those Oyster Bay hills! I know where you're talking about to meet. Hopefully I can hang next weekend!!

Yea Phil - The waves were good. Just got back from the beach. My friends are going back to Long Beach for an evening session. The tide should be coming in.
Hey folks - my apologies for this hijack - Tim from Connecticut here - and wanted to put the word out to you LI folks that we are planning a Block Island Bomb for mid/late Sept. I am pretty sure a ferry runs from Montauck. We had a KILLER session today (see our slide clinic post on this page) and many of us are so into doing Block Island. A couple of guys there today have done it before, it is about a 3 to 4 hour cruise around the entire island. We will probably have 15 to 20 folks heading out - it would be awesome to meet a whole gang from LI out there once we get there. Any and all skaters from NY/LI wherever are all welcome.
So - see if it is something you all are into - then I guess see if a Ferry runs out. Stay tuned in the SF events forum for exact date and time - ok?
(FYI - I am DYING to get to Long Beach and ride some waves - would love to hook up with some of you sometime - and I prob. wont get a board until next year , so it wont be anytime soon!)
Thanks.

yeah, I couldn't make it out to Oyster Bay. I'm stoked b/c I learned heelside and toeside slides on my evo after work today. I have a nice downhill in front of my job, perfect for learning slides. I'm down for either garages or Oyster Bay this Sunday, whatever is easiest for you guys. Whichever we get the biggest crew is best!
