If you look by the shore, there is Cliff Way, leads to the beach, hairpin at the bottom, and very steep, yet short. Anyone been around here?

Re: New York, Long Island Garages
Originals?
A little bit of a long shot but here goes...
I have a pair of Original 160's.
I would like to have a pair of 150mm trucks. Indy's, Randals, Trackers, whatever as long as it turns half way decent.
If you have some of these trucks that I seek and wish to trade straight across please let me know.
By the way the Originals are lightly used and are in pretty good shape. Didn't like them.
I would rather deliver them than mail so that's why I post here.
I'm out east.

Re: New York, Long Island Garages
Long Beach has got a one level garge that is right in front of the police station that I have yet to try. I'll report once I do. As for the Original Truck, I owned a Derenger and loved the tight turn capability but wanted something I could pump around on the flats. So I got into Carver C7 truck setup. Floaty feel alot like surfing. Rarely have to put the foot down.

Hey I totally F'ed up and forgot to check this thread. Though Sea Cliff is a little more traveling then I had planned, I would've been down.
What kind of speeds are we talking about there anyway?

So this appears to be the most popular thread of New york longboarding so this is my question.....
Do you guys get together on a reg basis?
Is there a crew up there? just wondering how often you guys skate as well, I might be moving up there again and I know nothing about you damn riders lol, let me know.

I might start skateing again. Are any of the old crew still on the fish. I went into the city for the Feast and ran into Ned and Andrew. Been bodyboarding but it looks like there aren't any hurricane swells this year.

Still here. getting ready for the BB.
How about picking a weekend for a garage jam sometime before Thanksgiving? I've still never been to "the sixer". I'd come out and could probably bring some folks with me.

Still here, Oldy. They built a Sk8park in the neighborhood, so I'm heading there after I walk the dogs. What's the word with Bethpage.
