Great session yesterday. LIsk8r, nice to meet and ride with you.....you got balls taking those hills w/o slide gloves. LB1, thanks for the advice on the pendys, it felt good to pull a couple, and also see how you do them. Itj999, glad to see you again, you're slides are sick man! Oldnstoked, thanks for setting the session up, they're always a blast....see you at the next one!!!

I had an awesome time yesterday! It was nice to meet all of you and I can't wait for the next session I can make, and yes some protective gear is definitely in order(gloves, knee pads and elbow pads). I think I would like to see that steep hill for sliding(ltj999 has inspired me with that earthwing deck), but that first hill was just a beautiful mellow carve I can't wait to do again. Looking forward to skating and sharing the stoke with you guy's.

Yea it was a good session. We have to do it again. Maybe we'll get some of the NYC boys out. That hill is a great slider. I would like to rent a bus and take you guys on tour of all the great places to skate. Maybe some company could sponsor the bus rental fee. I have a cdl with a bus endorsment. ( Just tripping ) but it would be cool. Right?

I definitely want to head by you soon but it is a hike for some of these dudes from suffolk. I have a need to skate an old favorite spot in Cold Spring Harbor before it gets covered with leaves or sand. It is a good carver, fast ,some turns, short hike up because there is a path that goes up the steep back side and there is not much traffic ( secluded development ) There is no run out.

I don't know when I can make the next session, but the trip in from suffolk is'nt that big of a deal. I commute to the city everyday anyway. I would even love to get a road trip together for one of those friday night prospect park rips. I say a long trip is a small price to pay for an epic skate session. What are the plans for sunday, just in case I can sneak away? Mike (Oldnstoked) you got my cell number? If you got two numbers it's the (516) area code.

Maybe Sunday could work. If have a soccer game in the afternoon but after that I might be able to get away. Saturday I have to work. I really want to get to Cold Spring Harbor before it gets sanded for the winter. Then after that its garage season. Keep an eye on the Brooklyn thread and maybe we'll go there on a Friday.

I can't skate Saturday either, but I'm definately down for a Sunday session. Oldnstoked, what time were you thinking of??

Who's up for a little session? I might be available after 2:30. I'm not sure of the road conditions after the rain and wind ( alot of leaves ). I'm toying with possibly making a trip to the Northern Virginia Race 11/18/06. Is anyone interested? I have to see how the $ is.

I have to see how long my relatives plan on staying on sunday. If it works out how I want it to I will be available, if not I will just have to stay home. Let me know a where, when, and what time and I will see if I can make it. Va sounds awesome but unfortunately I am not able to do it that weekend prior commitments!

I can skate today. I have some stuff to do early today, but afterward I'm good. Mike, I can meet you at your place at three? Let me know what you think, otherwise I may just do local streetskating.

3:00 at my place is cool. I figure I have about an hour to 2 hours so I was just going to hang at Joe's Bowl. As a matter of fact if I'm not at my place I will be at Joe's.

It seem's as though I am stuck here, I cannot go skate...this suck's. On a different matter I ordered protec kneepads, elbow pads and motion slide gloves from daddies board shop. Very nice people to deal with, they matched price on the pads from another company and then gave me free shipping. Also damn you ltj999 for bringing around that earthwing slide board, you just cost me 149.99 just kidding, I got hooked from those few slides I attempted. I ordered it from mile high skates it should be here in a week. I can't wait to skate again! I'll keep checking the posts hopefully I can make the next session. See you guy's soon. PS. Dave you gotta teach me how to ollie. I forgot to ask you that day. I am guessing the earthwing deck will be ok for that (right size, double kick)

Yeah, I couldn't make it yesterday either, Saturday's weather kind of screwed up my Sunday. The extent of my weekend skating was riding my Evo down to the bank and back Let's definately try to get something going this weekend. LIsk8r, I'll have you doing ollies in no time.....that EW has a really nice pop. Been thinking making a slide set up myself.....I really like those EW slide wheels, the soft inner core makes them ride so much smoother than other hard wheels.
