hey guys, i just found out that my best friend got me front row tickets to the TOOL concert tomorrow night; he's friends with the band. So unfortunately i'm probably gonna skate in the late afternoon till about 7pm, then have to take off so I won't be there for the Rip afterall. It sucks because I want to skate, but can't turn him down on this one... I still think it'll be a solid Rip.
All longislanders should come out to a Friday night rip and check out brooklyn.... We could all actually skate instead of post and post and post about skating together lol,
Instead of having too many LI threads we should stick with one. I hoping to go skating tonight around the central Nassau ( north shore )area or possibly some garages. If anyone is interested send me a pm.
hey OldnStoked, it was cool meeting up yesterday in Central Park, glad you could make it out. that's an amazing carving machine you got there. we definitely need to schedule something soon out on Long Island. we'll get a crew together then check out a few spots, maybe some sunday garages.
Yo Ned. Yea it was cool meeting up Sunday. We have to get a session together out here. I was thinking that if you were free midweek n the afternoon, you might check into getting a train to (Locust Valley) and I could pick you up after work 3:30. The big hills are in that area. If that doesn't work we could try Sunday evening garages. Maybe you can get in touch with Jim or tell him to give me a shout. I got to try to make the FridayRips.

davekeane-36 We are in the process of trying to get people together. What works best for me is Sunday evenings, also that is the best time to go to the garages in the Westury, Mineola area. Guys also get together on friday nights in Brooklyn ( Prospect Park )

The more I see, the less I know, the more I like to let it go.....
We could meet at 7:00pm Sunday at Roosevelt Field Mall garage by Dick's Sporting Goods and we could use that as a starting point. There are a couple of garages in a 5 mile radius from there. If you want to do some hills on the North Shore we could meet earlier.
Ned - If you want to take a train to Massapequa I will gladly pick you up.
