I know it's already late to be asking this but is anyone skating this weekend? I think I am flexible with either today or tommorow and times.

ills, what you're describing is the Loaded Fish, a 33-inch board with nice camber, grippy concave, vertically laminated bamboo/fibreglass construction -- an unbelievable pumping machine that works great with carvy trucks. unfortunately, you'll have to dip into your college fund, cos this is one of the most expensive decks out there ($150), but totally worth it in my opinion. it'll last you a lifetime. I've always wanted one. search around for some Adam Colton videos, he rocks this board pretty hard.

Ned,
I have the fish. I love it, but I would like it to pump better more like that one you got from that guy in chicago. Would high risers do that, also I have a pair of high wedged risers, do you think those might work?

I think the Original custom 35 has some of the same qualities you're looking for and it's $150 complete. I'll bring mine along for you to try the next time I visit one of the LI sessions (I swear it's happen someday soon!).

It's not quite the same thing: Loaded's magic (and the pricetag) is in the deck . . . with Originals it's all about their trucks.

yeah, i would definitely try some wedged risers in front and some soft bushings (khiro orange/white or similar) -- that's what i did on the board you road. Crappysurfer carves the hell out of his Fish; it's fun to watch.

Re: New York, Long Island Garages
Alright Guys, Let's get a group ride going for Sat May 5th. I know it's alittle early, but forcasters are saying it's going to be a good weekend, so let's take make the most of it. We can meet up a Marshalls and hit up the hills in OB, sound good? I know it's alittle early in the week, but maybe it's a good idea if we start planning now. Let me know who's down.
Dave, how's the knee? I went to local Sk8 park around my way and my foot/ankle still isn't 100%, but I can still ride. Hope all is well with ya.

Hey Phil. My knee is about 40%, unfortunately. I'm hoping I'll be good for this weekend. I'll likely be able to do some downhill carving, but I think the park is out of the question. So, count me in as tentative for Sat.
Itj999, kick ass on those finals. See you in a couple weeks!
