Theres a shop in the Sunrise mall ( Zumies ). Mostly Sector Nine, If you see a Street Wave board you like at any of the local shops, I can get one at a good price.
Peace
TJ - I'm definetly skating sometime this weekend. I want to bring in my 52nd year on a board and I think I have the OK because of it.

Re: New York, Long Island Garages
Hey guys, sorry I haven't been around much lately, my schedule has been/and still is pretty nuts. I've had a company in Cambridge, MA interviewing me over the past month and they have, FINALLY, offered me the position. It's an incredible offer and I am going to accept, so unfortunately I'll soon be a member of the Long Island Crew Alumni. I will be around for the next month so I definately want to get a session in, though I honestly can't say when as my priorities have now shifted from the stress-laden pursuit of a job, to the equally stressful pursuit of a place to live and an honest moving company that will get my stuff there without breaking everything. Alaina and I have family on the island so I'll hit some sessions on those weekends too. It's been awesome! I'll be in touch.

Well, this weekend Noel is gonna be sittin' off our coastline, and the winds are gonna be offshore, so I know where I'm going in the AM.

Re: New York, Long Island Garages
Dave - Congrats on the job. You will be missed. I was planning on banging in sick on Friday and skating and it would be nice to do a grand finale session with you. Whats up with you schedule. I bet the old job owes you some sick time.
Me and Joe went Monday night to a town meeting that the town supervisor held for all the sport groups because they want to pass a 60 million $ bond issue to upgrade the parks and fields. If I had more time I could have gotten more people together to show support for a concrete skatepark. I did get to speak with him and the commissioner of parks and rec. about the issue and they seemed to be open and told me they were thinking of one in Bethpage. They are politicians and blow alot of smoke. After election day I will see if they get the$$ and start a campaign to get a park. I will need people.
