Nope, Just my Dh setup. I'm still debating weather or not to bring my fullface or not. I know I don't need it for Prospect Park, but I found yesterday it makes me alot faster on big hills. Probably not though.

The cones will be in the trunk of my car as usual though, so if you guys really need them just ask me. I find its really too crowded to setup cones there though, and I don't feel like chasing another guy down for kicking one.

Just an FYI for Saturday, here's a list of the hills, brief description and pavement type for you diserning wheel folks.

Liberty- Steep, then a bit level-then steep again-perfect for sliders- Pavement: a little on the rough side with cracks and holes to keep an eye out for, I'd say 6/10.
    Sibbald-Just a straight big, scary, pucker your butthole drop-Pavement: Perfect-9 to 10/10.
Big Ass Run-Loooooong Run with a pretty crazy right hander at the very end that actually drops in elevation as it turns. Perfect Pavement-9-10
Crooked Dick-Nice S shaped run, but the turns aren't hairpins, there pretty mellow. But its fast. It sits on the shoulder of the big ass run, so if your good you can go from the top of Crooked Dick and turn it right into the.....Well, you know where I'm going with this Perfect Pavement-9/10
Jakes Tooth- Hook turn at the top that drops you into a long steep straight, with a speed hump to navigate over (Dh or Evo riders will want to check clearence before bombing) Another good sliding run. Pavement 7-8/10.

There's also two hills that my backyard sits in the middle of. They drop into crazy intersections with no runouts either, so all you can really do is slide on them.
I run 81a green gummies on every one of these hills and have no problems.

I'll see you guys at the RIP tonight for sure. I'll either be early, or late, depending on traffic over the GWB and on Canal street (I hate that street, I need to find a better route).

Otherwise, see you guys over on Magnolia tomorrow morning. Cell again is: 862-262-6349

Hey Sensei, do you have room for a big cooler of water and frozen gatorade??? Sounds like our car is gonna be jammed with boards and people.

Here's a google-map of the neighborhood -- I usually park near a basketball court at the intersection of Liberty and Magnolia; nobody uses the court and it's a good place to hang out waiting for people, especially if there's a soccer game in the big field. The slide/carve hill is next to the wooded area starting just above Holdrum Street.

I wish Crappysurfer2 and Dr Worm could be around for this one; too bad they just started school again.

Sure Ned, I got room. When you guys get here and were driving to different hills, I got room for more people too so your not as cramped. I'll bring the cooler and chuck an ice pack in it, you guys can throw your gatorade's and what not in there.

Thanks for the map too, and I forgot about the basketball course. That is a better spot to park and meet. Right on.

Also looking at the Map, we'll be parking along Holdrum St. when we go to Liberty, on the right side along the woods. So it might be easier for you to just take Hillsdale Ave to Hulldrum if your late and going straight to Liberty. Just an FYI.

One more map; it's an easy drive/skate to Sibbald from Liberty straight up Kinderkamack Rd:

Hey guys, looks like I'm at the beach right now, so no sesh for me. But a heads up for you guys: I was at Liberty yesterday and a cop pulled up and started talking with me. He just wanted to make sure I had a helmet and pads on (at the least kneepads, and I explained to him about the slide gloves). He was fine with skating the hill, but he did say to make sure that I keep my boards along the curb and partly on the grass. Not sprawled along the grass though by the wooded area and no boards sort of in the street... Otherwise looks like it should be a mad cool session.

Pyrate - You may have a tough time sliding Sibbald cause of the really tarry pavement. Its not the best pavement for sliding... Make sure you bring a carving/dh setup too, cause on that you'll definitely want to take runs other than sliding.

    Have fun people.

Thanks for the heads up Zogs. Like I said, Everyone NEEDS A LID tomorrow. The cops do look for it around there. And since we are looking to be a pretty big caravan of Jackasses, we'll no doubt see one or two

Its right across from George G. White middle school. Big brick building... on Magnolia as well. If you can't find it, just ask someone in town and they will point you the way... Pretty tough to miss though.

Sick, sick, sick. I'm super stoked for tomorrow. I woke up this morning for school, my throat was killer and I was spittin loogies all day. The allergies are getting bad up here. I'm about to go to bed early tonight so I won't be a walking zombie tomorrow. I got to chat with Martin at Top Challenge a little bit, and had the pleasure of being eliminated by him in the first round of the slalom race. I'm excited to get to ride with him tomorrow.

The maps you guys posted are super helpful. I'll see ya'll tomorrow

    Ned
I think I'm going to take a ride. I got to check out this scene. Maybe do a little skating. I think I will be leaving around 8:30 so call me if you want me to try to hook up with Lb1. It might make it easier for you. I don't know how long I'm going to stay. I just want to feel the stoke.

So how'd it turn out? Amazing I'm guessing... Tarter sauce... Although the skimboarding was exceptional today...

nuts, bonkers, skillzville. sensei and roastbeef deserve nobel peace prizes for hosting us in jersey today; tyler too in absentia since he couldn't be there.

according to GPS, fastest recorded time was 45mph on Sibbald by Sofa King, followed by 44mph from Rabid Skunk and Longbord1 (at least this is what i think i remember hearing). jam was freakin' smoking down the hill like a pro on his first massive hill at over 42mph if i remember. the pavement was smoooooth. pyrate and jessica ruled the slide bigade. martin was carving/power-sliding sibbald on a pool deck. oldnstoked hooked up towlines on liberty; i towed on bob's big ass run. pics to follow soon.

thanks guys, it was a nice day and a perfect weekend -- brooklyn banks thursday, then the friday rip, and saturday jersey hills -- a fantastic barage of sessions this week!
