New York, NJ, CT, PA - "Outlaw Convoy"

Hey Speed freaks,
We're planning a day for all New York City area rippers to experience some "real" hills. Our cross-Hudson douchebag pals have come up with a killer agenda of steep, ball-breakin' hills in Bergen County. We'll convoy from spot to spot before we attract too much attention. We're thinking about the following itinerary:

* Meet at a park on Magnolia in Hillsdale NJ, probably around noon or so.

* Start the day off with warmup runs on the nearby Liberty: a fast, fun hill with excellent pavement for bombs, slides and carves.

* Attack the monster of all hills, the legendary Sibbald -- recently paved, this is a legitimate DH run probably 35-40mph+; (i got freakin' speed wobbles on a bicycle filming Tyler and Roastbeef). it's also fun to carve and slide.

* A session at Bob's Big Ass Run: a nice long mellow-to-quick run in a brand new subdivision near Hawthorne, with tons of nearby hills for sliding and cruising.

* Finish the day off at Sensei's house for Bob's Big Ass BBQ .

We'll try to arrange transportation to pick up everyone and shuttle them over the George Washington Bridge for a great day.

Man, Im bummed I cant make it (Im in Ohio at school).

But, Im thinking about sending Bob a tape with me swearing and criticising everything (like I normally do) and he'll play it through a bullhorn every couple minutes.

Just a few quick notes:

Now that Sibbald is paved, its defiently capable of 40+, wouldn't be surprised if you could hit 50.

If anyone needs to take the train from NYC too, you can take it to the Hawthorne Station. My house is less then 5 minutes away. I will gladly fit as many as I can into my car, and we might possibly have a second or third car also.

My house where the BBQ will be actually sits right one top of two hills good for sliding.

Taylor Ham, Egg and Cheese sandwiches may be exchanged for slices of NYC pizza and some Hot Nuts, but only if said nuts were distributed by a man with hairy knuckles that did not wear gloves or use a prescibed "Nut Shovel".

Tyler, dude, it SUCKS you won't be there -- I can't remember a session in Jersey when you didn't show up at some point and scream/make fart noises down the hill. Anyway, I think you'll drive in for this -- it's only like 12 hours right? And you'll be homesick by then.
