Im about an hour west of Rochester at Hobart College. I skate here all the time. There are some beautiful 1.5 - 2.5 mile runs that go from the farms all the way down to the lake. Ill be here for another 3 weeks or so. If you want to skate, let me know and maybe we can do a sesh.

Also check out my pics. They give you a pretty decent idea of the stuff I hit down here. I may be able to get a car to come up for a day.

I hate to say it but I'm not sure if I can manage a sesh this year, I'm only hear for about another week and I have finals and am really busy. Are you going to be back next fall? I would deffinetely be interested in skating with you then?

If you want something to bomb the hell out of, go check out West Henreitta Road. It's steep and goes on forever...

Here at RIT, my buddy just got a new board and I'm shopping at the moment. Would love to run some super mellow cruiser hills to get me started shredding, as I'm new to boarding. (Ironically a skier in winter!)

Geneva is east of Rochester

I was gonna say, I just drove through Geneva on my way to Watkins Glen today, and it's most definately east of the Roc. BEAUTIFUL town though, seriously. I was out photographing but the light was real crappy so I didn't acually shoot much, but I was absoultely STOKED on the majority of Rt. 14, such a beautiful drive.

And I bet there a bunch of crazy runs that rip through all those wineries out there ........ I just have to get good enough to ride hills like that!

Time to resurrect an old thread... we are all back in school (1 hour EAST of rochester) at Hobart College. Lets meet up one of these weekends and hit some hills. Any of you guys still around?
