That was alot of fun I must say. The GS was alot of fun, it's my first time doing it; some how I came in third. I won a T-shirt, the food was great and the people were even more kickass. It was just a great, even though for the rain. I can't wait for the Fall Jam.

Well my last name is HerteN- but since I came in 11th it doesn't matter anyway Defiently had a great time even if it got a little rained out. I was real happy to see the two young guys I brought get so stoked. They were talking about it all the way home, I even had give em' steps to make some sliding gloves! Nick even bought his first longboard, and I couldn't believe the stuff Joe was pullin off, he'd only been on a long board once before that day!! We'll defiently be at the fall Jam, Maybe even then my girl will be ready to hit the hills! Big thanks to Rick and everybody else who showed up and made it a fun time!

I concur, Saturday was a kickass day. Who cares if it rained it was easier for me and my droogs to pull of the those 180's, even though all three of us ate it big with in about 10 minutes of each other.Allthough GS is not my style, I have give props to all of the people that did it. You guys have great style and it was a pleasure to watch. As for the poconos, I can't wait to see all of you guys again and show off some new slides( i was insipred buy the Gravity video) Rick, thanks for a killer time and if you and Frank are up for a day of downhill, you have an open invitation to come up north and chill with us. That goes to anyone that was there.

    Default Ref: NJ Bigfun w/Bigskate

Twas fun skating with all the big guns.....it was grrrrrreat not seeing a popsicle stick in sight! I believe there were skaters from 7 different states...all riding different-shaped boards...Firnspiegels, Fatboys, Bozis, G&S, Jam, TVS, I can't think of any others............nobody died of thirst or starvation as Rick provided plenty of food and body fuel(h20,sodas,beer,OJ) to prevent that. It was great to see everyone try the GS.....truly one with bigboards. Mother Nature blessed us with more than enough rain in the afternoon to keep me off the hills but I enjoyed seeing those who did ride in the wetness do some rad slides...just cruising/dorking on the local streets in the morn was fun as everyone has their own style proving that there is not just one way to enjoy your longboard! It was funny watching some of the cars on the roadway get passed up by someone pumping past them on their longboard. One guy did something that reminisced me of Chris Chaput......whilst sk8g along, he layed down into a coffin and then stood up, then pushed into a Coleman Slide. Thanks especially to the parents who showed much support for their teenagers by bringing them to this fun event.....and to everyone who skated and shared their artwork on the asphalt. Thanks to Rick for getting the wheel rolling for this longboarders' gathering, and for the showing of the new Gravity video and Chlorine video, to lbk who set the GS course, and to everyone who skated: I enjoyed meeting & skating w/you all. Let's do it again, hopefully later in sept or oct. If any of you find yourself down in Maryland, give us a shout!

Loved all of the different styles and age groups, it just proves that longboarders come in all shapes and sizes and ages, we had so many different varietys of riders and styles, that you can just sit back and think about all the good times...
Enjoy the pics and anyone who didnt make iit down or up try and make the Fall Jam in the Poconos, more godd time and hopefully some more swag...
Special thanks To MoBoe, LBF for helping on the event, he made it possible with me, and provided such a great presence to the scene...And dam the speed on the GS course wow, the man can pump!!!!!

    JERSEY F%$#IN RULES!!!!

Doooooooooooooooods!!! That was so much damn fun! Sassy and I had a blast and all the rest of the staff were quite jealous they missed it! It was a great time, I don't think anyone didn't have fun, even the poor parents that had to sit through it all!

And you guys got me soooo stoked on the Giant Slalom! Can't wait to do it again, LBK you absolutely RULE for bringin' the timing stuff!

Rick, you just overall rule for a great day

Hey LBK and JD, gimme your addresses, I got a L Garret sticker like mine fo ya'!!

I really dug everybody's style and the way we all gelled together, it was most cool. And I was sooooo jealous of the "Slidin' Kids", you guys were awesome!! It was really cool the way everybody was tryin' everybody else's boards and stuff, I'm so happy I was able to bring all my boards for you guys to try out. Some of it is good, some of it is okay. Hope I saved you some money by not wasting it on the okay stuff! Of course now I gotta get me a pair of those metal Seismics!!!
