    Default Hunter, NY, USA

Hey all, just wondering if anyone knows any good DH hills around Hunter, NY, USA. Or around Newpaltz? (near Hunter, anywhere basically within an hour of it.)
    Thanks.

Yep Winham is pretty quick. You gotta be careful because I almost got hit by a truck a couple times because it's a highway (sort of). It's going to be rediculous from now til March though because of ski season so it might be a little tough. Anyway, it's fast but it's not that fun to do because it's so long and there's no exciting corners. You start off standing and end trying to stay on your feet Once you get up to speed you are just sort of sitting there like "ok i'm ready for it to get exciting now"

If you are up in the area it's worth the trip though.

If you go, let me know and I can probably come down and skate it.
