New Jersey hills
I've been riding hills all over new jersey for about 5 years and the same old hills are getting a bit old. If any1 knows of any sick hills in jersey, tell me where theyre at and what the hill conditions are.
thanks

I got the BH1 with randal 180s oust bearings and abec gumballs 76mm 78a. It's a great board, it turns well and goes fast. With the gumballs, the ride is really smooth.

Re: New Jersey hills
Yes, Okay, but where in NJ are you?
In Cresskill in North Bergen County there is Kennedy Drive, which is a series of three hills connected by a flat, a blind switchback and a 90 degree turn into a drop.
In Park Ridge, also in North Bergen, there is Sibald Drive which is just a 1/4 mile straight down drop thats just been freshly paved. If you are feeling really fiesty there is a 90 degree left hand turn right at the bottom that you can try and make going 40-45+.

Okay, thats nice, but I asked what part of Jersey you were from. I can help you better if I know what parts your normally ride in.
Hake- what part of North Bergen County?

Re: New Jersey hills
Hake, most Jersey skaters on silverfish are in or around Bergen County. What town in Bergen are you in?

Re: New Jersey hills
im from Cape May. ive been up to north jersey and i went somewhere there once hat had some real rediculous roads. i think it may have been a smaller suburban neighboorhood near paterson. anyway, down at the beach there is only the bridge that goes onto our island. so if you're ever down here, thats it. i have heard that the Atlantic Highlands have a few fast runs. i dont know how the roads are there though.

I'm in Wyckoff. Big skate community around here in Midland Park but mostly short boarders. Haven't come across many longboarders.

There's a Burger King in Wycoff that has some fun banks if I'm not mistaken.

did some hill scouting in the area over the weekend. found a nice run here in wyckoff. the top of the run is at the corner of clinton ave and lawlins ave. good angle and sightline and turns uphill at the end for a nice slowdown before wcykoff ave. i think an early morning sat or sun before to avoid all traffic. take a look and let me know what you think! I'll probably take a ride the weekend after next.

yes, the downtown area but the street is residential and seems real quiet and the ride would be way over before you get anywhere near wyckoff ave. ever been to longboardmaps.com? good place to document and share this stuff, yes?
