Anyone riders in New York?
I was wondering if theres any riders who live is southern New York(Hudson Valley), or NYC that have any suggestions for places to ride. I live in a small town right on the Hudson and am getting pretty tired of all the hills here. I Went to the NYC Central Park race and was so excited to skate somewhere new with new people and want to explore some more. So anyone got some suggestions?

I live about 2 hours north of ya, about midway between Albany and Hudson, but I'm just getting into this so I've got no advice for you at the moment, just a shoutout!

Check out www.earthwingskateboards.com and e-mail Brian@earthwingskateboards.com. They're based out of new york, know the terrain, and put on events every year.

Sup dude. A bunch of us in NYC tear it up in Prospect park (smaller version of central park) every friday night. That's fun as hell. It's hosted by Earthwing skates (brian petrie) awesome dude.
Come on down and I will meet you at the train station if you like and show you around.
See you,
Connor

Yeah I've heard about that but we kinda live in the country and my dad thinks something bad is going to happen to me if I go into the city on my own. Even though I used to live in the city for 2 years. I mean he works in the city so I would think he of all people would let me go to the event. Hope I can make it sometime soon.

Rochester at the moment, but my hometown's a nudge north of Hudson.
Get in touch with me around the middle of August, that's when I'll be home from school. I figure I could just hop on the MTA in Poughkeepsie and meet up with you on some Friday, then head down to NYC, if that would help with the issues with your 'rents. Ahahah if meeting up with somebody on here is really any help at all....... But yeah hit me up with a PM around then, if you're interested; I'd love to shred NYC with some chill peeps.

Skate the city at like 1:30am all the avenues uptown and central park. It is so sick and there are no cars or people at that time. Especially in Central park. There are cops that patrol and will kick you out past a certain time, I think 12.

Re: Anyone riders in New York?
As wells, said, there are other dads that come sometimes.
Plus, you are in good hands, there are lots of cool people and the weedsmokers are virtually non-existent.
I am 14 and I have a space there, so you will be welcome too.
