if i remember last year, the pavement was suprisingly good in most spots. i was on 74a avalons last year, and a mini. horrible set up. you need to ride something stable, and semi roomy. i think ill ride my old sec9 with crails or sometheing.

i gonna show up on a sector nine bomb hills that has taken me all over south-eastern CT, and parts of RI. So pumped can't wait I've been practicing and bombing down majors roads in the middle of towns weaving in and out of traffic, but probably nothing compared to what broadway is gonna be like

I think this year we will easily have more than 100 riders maybe 150...It's going to be amazing...although after a while you kinda forget about everyone else the begining of the race last year I couldn't even kick because I couldn't stop laughing...it was the most surreal thing I've ever did, having 70 crazy longboarders kicking like their lives depend on it was too much fun.Drivers cursing and people taking pictures..thats the kind of thing that people go "only in NY".

Haha the start was crazy it was just a huge mass taking over the road...i don't think there were any room for cars to get through for a good 1/2 mile or so

I'm coming down with my crew this year guys, 3 other guys that love to skate. Where is that hotel you stayed in last time Grimace? We're going to need a place to crash Friday and Saturday night so I want to book a room in advance. We're going to Friday night costume run again this year too right? We'll be coming down Friday morning maybe late Thursday night. Skate Friday and then race Saturday, get wasted, then skate Sunday then head home.

i'll be hanging out at a special spot in Times Square with a video camera and still camera. of course, you'll probably never see the photos or video, but they will be captured for sure. also, there's a professional film crew that usually documents the event every year.
