Just found some intresting info on a parking garage for Ikea in Paramus, NJ. Check it out: "One of the distinctive features of the Paramus Ikea parking deck is the use of 60-foot-wide speed ramps to move traffic from level to level." The way I see it, 60 foot wide ramps= a whole lot of carving
I've seen this thing from the highway and it looks pretty big. The best part is, its in Paramus, which means if you go on a Sunday they'll be no cars since of there lovely Blue laws which closes everything on Sunday
I plan on hitting this next Sunday. If anyone in the area is intrested post here and will figure out a time. Westwood Boys I know this is right in your backyard. I might cruise by it this sunday if I can find the time to check out the security situation.
Yup, you got it! Its further down then Sam Ash, going past the mall, over by 208. I think Sam Ash is on the side going towards the GWB, Ikea is on the other side going towards 208.
I think I'm going there tonight to check it out. Unfortuntely that means I have to actually go in the store itself and look at cruddy furniture with my girlfriend. The sacrifices I make!!

Yeah I know, but this might also require me assembling one of those cruddy pieces of furniture. Trust me, its not fun
The best part is I'll be in semi-nice clothes since were going straight from dinner (its her birthday today) So security shouldn't suspect anything as I nose around the garage MUHAHAHA

You know what, I don't really mind IKEA stuff. It's not terrible, I mean like bookshelves and CD racks and stuff, and it is pretty cheap. For kids startin' out like you two, it's great. At least you can have SOME furniture in your place till you can save up and get the stuff you really want. Milk crate furniture is cool when you're in a dorm, but................
Tell your lovely lady I said Happy Birthday!
Oh, and I got the trucks, thanks!

Went and checked it all out friday night. Its got 2 HUGE ramps that stretch from the 3rd deck all the way to the bottom. You can start at the top, carve down to the second deck, shoot through the flat section to the ramp on the other side or carve the whole thing top to bottom. There's also a small hill that runs around the outside of the garage.
As far as security goes, there where 15 to 20 kids shortboarding on the curbs on the first level when I got there at 8, and where still there when I left at 9:30. I didn't see one security guard or a booth. All I saw was an empty pickup that said security on the top level. From the amount of noise all those popsicle sticks were making, they shouldn't have a problem with us just riding the ramps.
I will defiently be there this Sunday, post below if you feel like going. (where are those Westwood boys?)
Oh, and I got a killer knife set for 5 bucks

Actually, I ended up not going yesterday My whole body was hurtin' after playing paintball saturday. I figured it was no big deal since nobody was gonna show up anyway. I'll hit it this sunday, The only plans I got for this weekend are going to see Poison The Well at the Starland Ballroom saturday night. Provided I don't get shoved in the pit I should be fine
