but hey i got to race more than i would have if it was different.
I will note the correction Taylor. Consistency in placing is what is needed to hit the podium in this format and it was designed with the desire for more time on the hill AND to come up with a podium. We could have done run offs to place all riders decided not to go that route long before the race took place. An elimaination system is the best format for TRUE racing but still requires timed qualifying to place all riders, I am not a fan of the work in trying to place any riders who do not make "the show", you either make the top eight or you don't.
Hey, can everyone who reads this either PM or post their Munnsville rider number in the race? I'm putting together a bunch of photos, to send to a few different skate blogs and possibly for a magazine article, and would like to identify everyone who raced. Last year I pretty much knew everyone, but this year there were way too many riders to figure out who's who.
I've edited down to a reasonable number for photos. If you send me your number and name, I'll make sure to get some photos directed to you. I think I got a fair amount of shots for each rider, particularly in turn 2 (the left).
(riders in pink leathers don't have to reply, I know who you are).
thanks,
Ned
EDIT: If you send your number, please also send your name (that's actually what I'm trying to figure out, names w/ numbers)

Hi Nervous Ned. I met you up on turn two. If you can send some shots of my son # 44 Calvin. Red, White and Blue leathers. I had a crappy 10 yr. old HP camera and didn't get any good pictures.
Thanks,
Mark

i actually had 10 (1st, 2nd, 3rd, and 4th), but like he said it doesnt matter past the first 8
what ever guys, that was crazy fun! I can't wait till next year! Neil, great job. I'm pretty sure the top 8 would have remained the same any way you did it. Everyone else, i know you don't mean bad by posting errors in your score but let it go. There is always next year!
