This Saturday GSI and the York, Maine race will be featured on "Bill Greene's Maine". Hopefully one of our Mainiac Lugers will tape this episode for us all. See info on the show here http://www.wcsh6.com/billgreen/article.asp?id=14290
It's approaching faster than you think. The third annual Madison County Gravity Festival on July 31 and August 1st is fast approaching and just over a month away! It's the week before the Top Challenge event in Montreal so if you're travelling this could be a great opportunity to hit up two events in two weekends within 5 hours of each other. This year the event is on a different and better hill. You can see pictures of the new hill here: http://gravitysportsinternational.co...road/index.htm
There will be a hot air balloon rally all weekend long starting Friday. So get there early to scope out an aerial view of the road before anyone else!
The after party is going to be held at "The Palace" one of New York's premier night clubs. It guarantees to be a great party. It also provides a "Juice Bar" for non-alcoholic beverages as well as a full size bar. Check out their web site here: http://www.palacetheater.org/site/index.php
Most importantly, we need all riders interested in coming to this event to send a head shot of yourself to Scott Hughes, the man behind the race, to put in the event program. For those who have never been to the past MCGF's every year a racer's guide is made for the fans that show up to the race. It lets them pick out a rider to root for and gives them something to get signed by the athletes. It's better to send your photo now and have to bale out at the last minute then to miss out on this opportunity. Send your head shot and a short bio BY JUNE 30TH to shughes@dreamscape.com or if you want to send it by mail send it to:
