Default DH run in NY

So I was checking around on Googe Earth when I decided to once again check out the areas near Harriman State Park. After searching and searching, I found this road here. Observatory Road is around 3 miles long, give or take depending on the point and click path the Google Earth ruler tool produces. I want to head out here and check this road out, because it looks ####### awesome. Its about 1.5 hours away from Port Washington on Long Island, so its definitely shorter for the NYCers and such. I will do my best to get out there soon and give a report on this road.

Oh #### thats right off the throughway. I'm headed up to belleayre this sunday and I'll stop by and check this out, it will probably be unrideable due to the snow tonight but I'll check out the road conditions.

Nice dude, I checked the grade from the top to right before the thruway and it came to a 4.7 or something. Looks nice, if Its good I'll definately come to skate one day.

After the 3rd hairpin, looks like a small uphill followed by a big drop and then another uphill section which then leads to the final descent.
