well, i was planning on doing this a couple weeks ago(it's been a hectic month or so) and then i was thinking of nixing the idea all together but i decided to go ahead.
my crew has been using the name the garden skate longboarders for some time now. we decided we wanted to offer that name and the logo i made to anyone interested in showing their garden skate pride on the fish. it would no longer just be my crews name(though we are still using it) but the name of all the nj fish who are interested in using it. its just for fun, doesnt mean anything other then you longboard in nj. there is no hierarchy and this is for no self serving reasons, just stoke! im gonna post the logo and img code below and feel free to link it as your avatar or in your sig. i also plan on having stickers made up, when i have them i'll post again and you can send a stamped self addressed envelope to me and i'll send you a few, will also be giving them out at sessions. but first i have to have some made.
also if your the first in your area code to use the logo feel free to add and name your area code(ex. we're the rollin' 908's). again, it's just for fun but also to help bring some comradarie to all of us garden skaters.

another project i was going to be working on was trying to compile a list of nj skate locations called garden skate spots. the fish used to have a places to skate section but it was dropped in the recent revamp. i wanted to have a bunch of locations set up before i posted but have decided to just start the thread and let it grow with the help of those interested. so i will be posting a thread titled "garden skate spots" and hope we can fill it up and eventually maybe get it stuck to the top of the page. it will be a list of locations with any info the original post'er sees fit regarding the spot. however, i would like it to just be a list of spots that have been scouted/skated and would like to keep any discussions of the locations in their own threads so as not to clutter the spot thread.
the sport is growing fast, i've met a lot of cool stoke spreading individuals(in and out of nj) in the last few years and i'm hoping at least in the garden skate and on the fish we can develop an even stronger network/crew to help spread the stoke.
any comments are appreciated.

Can I keep the logo, but change the colors? I hate the parkway colors, mustard and Sh1t green. Sorry for being difficult, but one must ask. I'm thinking changing the Sh1t green for Black and Mustard for Bright Green or Red.

yeah, the colors arent my first choice either. i'm just going for authenticity.
feel free to change it to your liking, i actually think that would be really cool. i would do it for you but i know you got some photoshop skills. if for some reason you need some help let me know.
also thanx for adding to the garden skate spots thread. as i have time i will be adding and cut & pasting other locals. wanted to give people who have originally posted them a chance to participate themselves.
