hey, i am comming from ottawa with dasha from toronto
we get in new york at "penn station" at 6pm friday
just wondering if we would be able to make it to watchtower thingy.
i at least want to hit the friday night rip.
ned, will people go to the earthwing party after food at your place? is it far?
look forward to skating with you guys and gals! I am getting on a bus to toronto then to new york at midnight tonight, 16 hours on a bus here i come!
Damn 6pm, I think you're better off just heading to the RIP (at 8pm) and to get there you take the "F" train. This is complicated for a non-new yorker to understand, but you take a Brooklyn bound "A" train to Jay Street (in brooklyn). You then get off and transfer to an "F" train that is on the same platform (should be a brooklyn/coney Island bound local train) and you take it to 15st/prospect park.

!
Yup, we'll definitely go to the earthwing party at 8pm (that'll pretty much be the highlight of the whole weekend in my opinion). the cookout is 100% optional, just a chill spot for anyone who wants some free food, beer and a spot to crash out for a while after the race. We'll probably take the G-train from my house to Bushwick; it'd be about a 20-30 minute subway ride from my house.
okay so I'll probably be arriving at Grand Central around 9:40am on Saturday.
Do the locals agree that the most effecient way to columbus circle would be to board there? Anyone else gonna be in G Central around then and wanna meet up?

yea just board there, its only like a mile or so and the train commute there is too complicated for me to want to explain.

I think some skaters from Fairfield CT (Joe the Penguin and Jules) will be arriving about the same time, so maybe watch out for them. They'll be holding Loaded boards.
Leave Grand Central at 42nd Street/Lexington, figure out which way North is (higher numbers) and skate until you get to 59/60th Street where it dead ends into Central Park. Turn left and skate to the west edge of the park. That's Columbus Circle. Shouldn't take more than 10-15 minutes to get there, tops.
