Default New park for NYC

March 12, 2008

Construction is set to begin in May on a skate park under the Triborough Bridge.

It will include a skating area with three-foot ramps, grinding rails, and other challenges for skateboarders to master.

City Council member Peter Vallone is funding most of the $1.3 million project.

The park is expected to open next year.
