there are cliffs with nothing but guard boulders and blind turns... let's say no.
edit: unless I'm thinking of the wrong road. I haven't seen 100% of the Harriman district yet.

No neuros, I'm not talking about bear, though I was thinking of that as a spot as well. The road is gated off though last time I was there we saw a hiker walking it and he said it wasn't private property so we should be ok to skate it as long as we stay somewhat discrete. The part we would race is the top half of the road, so we wouldn't be in view from anywhere as well, and theres a small parking lot at the bottom for the hiking trail as well.

Nick- it's pretty safe, i'd say about as safe as sultans. Speeds are up to like 35ish with 2 hard sweepers and a hairpin left. Theres no cars at all and its a bit wider than one lane so I have yet to decide how many racers we'll do, either 3 or 4. I have't gotten the time to go up there in the past few weeks, its like 45 minutes from where I live now and it has no lights so I can't really check it out after work.

edit: there are no significant drop offs on this road either, though there are some decent sized rocks about 15-20 feet away fromt he road on the outside of the hairpin if I remember correctly. But as long as everyone can footbreak/slide and isn't skating retardedly we shouldn't have a problem.

Sounds sick, almost like Dump Rd but slower, seems like a good place to race.

crappy-this is where I'm planning to have my outlaw. Well, kinda, its a small closed road up to a tower up there, very few people have skated it. (just me actually, the other people who were with me buttboarded down because the road was covered with too many leaves).

Pat are you talking about the road we skated with all the caterpillars and leaves and #### on it? That was fun We could have a race on Gate Hill as well. And I only butt-boarded the last half of it!

Yeah i'm talking about the caterpillar run.... and gate hill wouldn't be good to race, too much traffic and it's just a straight bomb anyways. We can freeride it after we're done racing.

just for clarification, aren't gate hill and willow grove the same road?

also, does anyone want to ride here next wednesday the day before thanksgiving?
