Its nothing crazy (in terms of hills), haven't done the bomb but i've skated broadway before and its pretty flat.

Use something that is maneuverable, but doesn't prevent you from going fast through traffic. If you can rock a mini at speed then go for it. I use a supercharger. Superglider would be the megatron of broadway bomb boards though. Or something similar.

It's preference though. I wouldn't use wheels smaller than 66mm though.

I would rather do broadway than flatbush. Flatbush WOULD kill you. Prospect park-Belt parkway is asking to get run over, regardless of where you are on the road.

Where do we register and stuff? NJ Joe are you gonna take the train from NB up? You guys think I should swap out my 75mm lime bigzigs for 70mm flashbacks or 65mm greaseballs? Hahah i have a lot of questions, just excited though.

I know it's a race and all, but will there be anyone that won't be skating balls to the walls frightening speed. I'd love to try it out but I'm admittedly not that fast since I only got my board a month ago and it's my first. But I am familiar with Broadway since I commute on my board down Broadway from 92nd to 23rd five days a week for school....just not quickly. Probably takes me 50 minutes to an hour each way. What I'm asking is would I be so far at the back as to be completely and totally alone for all but the first 50 ft? I'd actually love to see how some skilled riders skate in traffic if I could!
If not I'll just brush up on my skills and try for next year. It's a yearly thing right? I'll definitely be ready by next year. And I live on Broadway so if I don't skate I can pop my head out of my apartment and watch y'all zip by.

Its not about winning, its just about meeting up w/ other skaters and having a fun as$ time
