red hill rd middletown nj,i used to do it real late night other wise ALLOT of traffic.nice winding road, good park at the top to chill.
the last turn at the bottom is fast, careful if you try it out .
driving back from holmdel park the other day i checked out one of the developments off of 520... it looked pretty solid lots of turns and stuff. the development is surrounded by rt520, conover rd, and boundary rd
You could try talking to the locals at our forum in NJ. It's very new, but most of us came from a different Jersey forum that's dead now. Either way, pretty much all members are from Jersey and know spots.
Marlboro.... Try rolling hills in marlboro... it has one steeper longer course for higher speed and another hill for nice cruising the speed you get your pumping at is the speed you will keep, nice 90 degree turn at the bottom or cul-de-sac
nothin good enough in Howell to justify a trip, but some nice hills if you live in Howell i guess. I was just scanning the forums and saw "manalapan/freehold/howell/manasquan" and though damn bro, thats me, small world. Where are you guys from if you dont mind me hijacking this thread.....sorry just cant help myself

i'm in Holmdel till Wednesday, i live in Philly though. I used to ride my bike around here, before i got into longboarding (recently) some nice hills (telegraph and takalousa), very steep and sort of windy. Also there are little things and bits within developments and whatnot.

im not extremely familiar with holmdel, but if you go past the highschool then turn left at the light and go all the way straight, even straight past the stop sign you go into a development which huge ass houses, and they live all the way at the end of it. I actually owned my elbows and entire side when I bombed down a hill then realized the road ended and the turn was way to sharp with my grippy wheels, so I tried to run it off not realizing I was going at least 25mph. In the end I got bad road rash. Good thing I had sliding gloves on or I would of broken my wrists and fingers. I hate that board, its a crappy sector 9, and the trucks were way too loose, now I got a new gravity mini board which is sick (for college next year). This summer I plan on making some boards, I eventually wanna make a drop through downhill.
if you know marlboro, it might be sick the road which parallels the mental hospital (my great uncle used to be director of it, what a coincidence), I think it is conover. Or even the road which leads up to Collier Services which is off that road, and its a freaky ass steep 1 way road.
