look, i dont know what went on over at the gardenf 8k site, but i want to make it perfectly clear the garden skate longboarders have nothing to do with this todd guy.
i met him once at the jump-off in feb. where he was promoting some sk8board4life b.s.. i introduced myself and some of my crew to him(my man tom told me he had a bad vibe about the guy, too). ironically, a couple weeks later he's promoting his new gardensk8 site, home of the gardensk8longboarders. he totally lifted our identity, f'n poser.
i called him on it but arguing on the internet is futile. so i took the high road hoping it would be good for the jersey scene. we did decide we wanted nothing to do with the gardenf 8k or his site, though.
i see from some of the recent comments i've read and the appearance of the solitary skates forum we were right to be pissed about him biting the name and we were right to have nothing to do with him.
building on adam's bad egg analogy, it sounds like his chickens have come home to roost and mr. "good sk8 karma" was revealed for who and what he is. no surprise here.
i originally asked adam to keep scott's mt. on the down low because i didnt want that guy anywhere near one of our skate spots(not that i think he would show up if he new we were going to be there).

anton/anybody else, if you have any apprehensions about coming because of that f 8k put them aside, my friend. no worries. come out... it's a nice spot.

sorry for the rant but i dont want people to feel nervous about coming out because of some one like that and i dont want people to associate garden skate longboarders with that guy, either.

OK, so if anyone who wants to come and doesn't have a ride, just speak up now, and maybe we can work out the kinks. I don't have a ride. There's a chance I might be able to get a car that day. If Pat $ comes, maybe I can get a ride with him and pitch in for gas. If the Brick City Bombers come, maybe I can get a ride with them. I also mentioned it to J Corchia last night, maybe she'll come too.... We'll see how it progresses as the week winds down.

I will ask my dad when he gets home, but I doubt he'll be able to come up, since he's been working the past couple Saturdays.

I'd like to bring my brother, so that would make it a bit tough...we'll see.

ehhh Sunday is tough for all us HS guys who have school the next day. Also considering it's a good 2 hours away. Myself and a couple others will not be able to go.

whats good ton. no real need for a safety meeting on this hill. and as for either sat/ or sunday, i think it would be best to let "swingingneckbreaker" decide, because its his spot, and I'd like to skte with him and his crew, so, scott, let us know which day is best for you, Sat, or Sunday... also lets see how the weather is looking for the weekend.

hey guys,
we're set for sunday 12:00, as originally planned. saturday, i'm goin' to a halloween party w/my family and it's tom's b-day so he's got plans. we're stoked for sunday.
hopefully, several safety meetings, you can never be too safe, bring your safety gear...lol.

Guys I need your help, how do I explain this to my parents so that they will let me go?

I'm pretty sure they won't let me go if I say I'm driving an hour away to skate a hill with some complete strangers. Help me out so I can go sunday.

I remember when I went to my first Jersey Jumpoff that my mom came to the meeting place to meet W/ Adam and she was fime with it after that. See if your parents can take you to meet w/ some of us so they can see that we are cool. How old are you?
