Yea, I don't really wanna lie cause I've gotten caught before, I'm 17 so I can drive but if I can maybe have my parents meet some of you guys then that'd be cool, I'll have to talk to them.

One of the big reasons i don't come out to sessions is because my parents aren't too cool with me skating with a bunch of older guys. Any idea how i could get them past that and possibly show up on sunday?

Well, not everyone is older. If I go, I am only 17, and my little brother is 11.

wow everyones parents are so strict, i'm only 17 and before i got hurt i was driving 105 miles by myself one way every weekend to meet up with friends and sometimes strangers to skate.

Gordo, you are mature beyond your years sucka.. and you used to have a beard that even made me scared at times lol...Anyway... and well, for you other kids who wanna come... we're just going to be skating a hill for a few hours, not corrupting your feeble little brains anymore than what South Park, and Family Guy has done already. Bring your parents and tell them to stop being squares (square = a term old people used to use which denotes something uncool.) I'm 30, and my ex-girl is 32 yrs old with a 14 yr old son who I practically raised. So I can basically be a Dad to some of you ****ers.

a couple kids came out last year with their parents so thats always an option...

or, if someone else is coming with their parents, maybe they could talk to your parents and agree to watch over you or somethign along those lines.

My dad would take me but he just doesn't want to be sitting around doing nothing for 3 or 4 hours.

Sorry man, I'll be at my gf's on saturday night. I can bring you to scotts mtn though, I'll be stopping by hoboken on my way. maybe you can stay with connor (and don't you ahve some family in brooklyn?) When are you coming up here, if you'll be in the area friday afternoon let me know asap- white pain sesh is going down.

We should talk to ned about this too, I bet he'd be interested in coming.

My mom does the same thing and I feel really bad. But she just sits there, plays w/ her video camera, reads a book, or heads to town and shops. Maybe he can take some video or some thing else to spend time. Or he can go down the hill with us lol. idk

3 or 4 hours? Tell him this is a significant event for your sport of choice.

My son is your age and I've spent hundreds of hours over last six years "sitting around doing nothing" on the sidelines of his baseball games. In fact, if my boy didn't have a football game this Sunday, I'd probably come out to skate this session.

Besides, dad can stay busy shuttling riders back to the top of the run!

No biggie Kong, being that Kong is actually your real last name more than makes up for it... you super-cool sumunabich. I've been hearing rain for the weekend and some mixed signals, so hopefully It'll rain Sat. and clear up for Sunday. we shall see....
