hey guys,
had a great time and enjoyed seeing/meeting everyone who came out. i'm glad everyone enjoyed themselves. it felt great to be back on my board again.
and yes, john and joe, the father and son(w/the quads) that live there, have been way cool from day one.
hope to skate with y'all again soon.

i met him once at the jump-off in feb. where he was promoting some sk8board4life b.s.. i introduced myself and some of my crew to him(my man tom told me he had a bad vibe about the guy, too). ironically, a couple weeks later he's promoting his new gardensk8 site, home of the gardensk8longboarders. he totally lifted our identity, f'n poser.
i called him on it but arguing on the internet is futile. so i took the high road hoping it would be good for the jersey scene. we did decide we wanted nothing to do with the gardenf 8k or his site, though.
i see from some of the recent comments i've read and the appearance of the solitary skates forum we were right to be pissed about him biting the name and we were right to have nothing to do with him.
building on adam's bad egg analogy, it sounds like his chickens have come home to roost and mr. "good sk8 karma" was revealed for who and what he is. no surprise here.
i originally asked adam to keep scott's mt. on the down low because i didnt want that guy anywhere near one of our skate spots(not that i think he would show up if he new we were going to be there).

anton/anybody else, if you have any apprehensions about coming because of that f 8k put them aside, my friend. no worries. come out... it's a nice spot.

sorry for the rant but i dont want people to feel nervous about coming out because of some one like that and i dont want people to associate garden skate longboarders with that guy, either.

Come to my skate park and I'll show you something to bite on. I'm located at 321 Changebridge Road Pine Brook NJ 07058. No need to call ahead. Anyone with a mohawk at 39 has issues. I can say that because I actually played in a real punk band and got over it by my mid 20's. I never talked #### about you, but game on. Again pleeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeease come to my skate park and we can settle this face to face.
