Any riders in Trenton/Princeton, NJ/Yardley, PA (or TCNJ, Princeton, Rider colleges)

Hey, I go to TCNJ (The College of NJ) and am looking for people to ride with, there's plenty of longboarders at my school but they seem to just ride for transportation.

There's some smooth pavement and mild hills around where I live, and recently I have been exploring some nice hills on the PA side of the Delaware near Washington crossing park.

Let me know if any of you guys are in the area, maybe we can get together to ride sometime.

I guess theres no one around me

. I found some nice hills in PA a nice speed/carving hill, and a sweet slide hill with perfect pavement. And, still have a few promising places to check out. me and my friend had the cops called on us by some rich lady at the slide hill the other day but the cop was cool and just told us we should probably go to a different hill for the day so no biggie.

Also if anyone is near New Hope, PA Ive been driving up there for some of the hills.

ive been to washington crossing park. som nice hills there. im in the burlington area of jersey im always down for a shesh (if i have gas money)

i live in central jersey when i'm not at school. (like 20-30 minutes outside of TCNJ) so eventually i'd be down to skate

I grew up right outside of Trenton, but I personally can't speak for any hills. For long cruising with bunny slopes and no traffic, think about mercer county park.

i think i remember you posting in the marlton thread, that's my hometown and i have a few friends who skate down there. when i'm home for the summer i'll let you know

yea i noticed that, washington crossing park is really hilly but the roads either have horrible pavement or are to sketchy with cars which is why ive been heading into PA whenever i have time

I'm always down, I work from home mostly so I can skate any time.

There's no real hills in Plainsboro, but there's' stuff not too far away in Millstone and Hightstown. And, I know sick runs back in Monmouth county as well.

Also, I have a good friend who's girlfriend goes to TCNJ. He skates as well and he's there (TCNJ) all the time. Good guy to skate with. a lot of the time he'll be staying with her for the weekend and he'll come over my way to skate. It's only about 15 minutes from there to my place.

? hightstown? i went to high school there.... where are the hills?

Millstone and perineville, which pretty much boarders Hightstown. No crazy long runs, but a few 40ish with a couple of turns. Plus a bunch of steep slide hills with good pavement and lack of traffic. All out by the tree farms and stuff in the sticks.

that is true. i have been out that way skating.

I get out of class tomorrow at 11:30 so I'm planning to do a few hours of skating starting around noonish. If anyone is up for skating let me know I'm fine with driving a little bit. If I don't find anyone I'll probably just be heading into PA and riding some of the hills along the delaware river between like New hope and Yardley if anyone wants to meet up there.

I've been pretty busy with school and board building. but i try to make it there at least once a week sometimes twice. I just looked up the 'great hills road' i can't believe i missed that one i must have scouted out 20 roads right around, it that name should have tipped me off

here's some footage and pics from my sesh yesterday i posted it in the pic/video forum I figured I'd repost here

I found a sweet new skating spot yesterday and had a camera with me so I set it up and took some footage, it was a fun session and I finally got down switch standup 180s. heres the video, the camera location for the second half could have been better (since the steeper part of the hill was far from where the camera was) but o well, I'm getting a tripod so i'm not restricted to finding random places to put the camera on.

Nice 180s. Where is this? I live in the city but my parents live in Princeton and I've been looking for a good hill to skate when I go visit them. I would be down to skate too but I only come around for a weekend about once every one or two months.

I'm heading up to school tomorrow so I figured I would bump this thread in case anyone is in the area.
