Got an email a bit a go saying:

Well, The weather is finally getting warm and you know it can't be long be long before the Central Park Race Event Weekend is here. I have talked to Fred about the Weekend of June 5th, 6th and 7th for the Event Weekend.
That would be:
Friday Night Rip June 5th
Central Park Race June 6th
Slidefest June 7th
I am going to keep with this weekend for now unless I hear a lot of negative feedback or some other races which coincide

The Race is on the 6 mile loop (the road goes in a loop you'll see it if you look at a map of google).

Slidejam is slated for the 7th (sunday) mid day (think one-ish). I haven't decided whether the traditional spot or Fort George Hill will yeild a better event. I'll have more details on location soon.

I'm still waiting on sponsors, though......

I will be glad to let anyone know of good locations to slide in the NYC, Manhattan/Brooklyn area. All are close to MTA transit.

I am NOT organizing a party for the weekend of these events.

####k, i have been looking forward to this race since i did the last one in october, the broadway bomb. i realized i have the SAT that morning at 8 am on june 6th. this ####### blows, i wanted to go so bad. Hopefully if the race starts at like 1, or 2 pm or something then i will luck out. but goddamn i hope i can make it some how
