Quality bushings in NYC
I've must have called 6 or 7 skateshops asking for khiros or venoms. I don't expect them to have venoms.. but you never know. I know shut skates has the khiro kit, but i'm not trying to spend that much money for bushings.
Does anyone know where to get khiro, or any type of quality bushing, in NYC?
also on another note, are ditto (diddo? i don't know) bushings good? Every skateshop has them. Also what about bones bushings?
I have a standard pack of venoms on one of my self made boards, the thing ripssss, how do diddo and bones bushings stand up to venoms?

Not even Homage has a decent choice of bushings. It kinda makes me sad. Then I remember the internet, and I'm happy again.
Never ridden dohdoh's, but two thumbs up for Bones Hardcores. I'm gonna go out on a limb and say that, response-wise, all things being equal, they're somewhere between a (dead) khiro and a (boing boing) Venom. And I haven't had any problems with the built-in washer doodads.

Bones are not really a substitute--they don't have the same amount or kind of rebound as Venoms (springy, bouncy, boingy, whatever you want to call it). More like a khiro that works really well, if that makes any sense.
