Pretty sure he means that the one in the Cloisters will be more of a legit event(sponsors), and Dyckman will be a chill session. I plan on getting out to at least one and having a good time.

The Dykman hill is steeper so i'd rather go to that but I am also confused like everyone else. But if more ppl are skating at the Cloisters i'd rather be there.

Here is what's up:

First off, I am soooo stoked for this years events and side sessions. I can't wait to see all the firmiliar faces and meet new ones as well.

Down to business. Holding an event with prizes and without insurance could pose a problem for the sponsors should anything go wrong (god forbid

), so the event would need to be held at a location that fits the criteria (Cloisters). No sponsors mean no worries on that account, so we hit a more noticed and gnarlier hill (Dyckman).

As of now there are no sponsors. If this trend continues, there is no reason to keep a low profile.

If I need to be even more clear, I will be.

I'm thinking that I'll do both, go to The Cloisters first and when I get bored of that i'll go to Dykman (if i'm not mistaken, its right outside the 1 train stop for Dykman street as I had passed by that hill erreday going to X-country).

guys... it aint rocket surgery...

if the "comp" gets some "official" sponsors then it's going to be held on a low-key hill where we won't get busted and therefor cause problems for said sponsers

if the "comp" doesn't get any "official" sponsors, then it's going to be held on a gnarly hill that we could get booted from, but is a great hill and is worth the risk of getting booted mid-sesh

reading comprehension is a valuable skill kids
