I had a blast skating in the hague in 2006, no hills to be found, but the bike paths are butter and great for pumping.

in schieveningen there is a cool little surf/skateshop on the waterfront called "go klap"

I think it was Basch, a member here on silverfish, who directed me there

they have a few lush, Indiana's and sector 9's decks, plus some trucks and wheels.
    I bought some holeys there

i saw some smooth slopes on the bicycle lane in the dunes leading to Scheveningen beach from Wassenaar, good for some carving. there are lots of fast bicycle riders though. also a couple of skate parks with ramps, steps and rails around The Hague but still none for bombing. too bad i'm not into tricks and dancing.

yeah, bicycle lanes here are awesome. not good for sliding and foot breaking though because they're rubberized or something for added grip when it's winter.

i have gotten in touch with Basch already, he has some very useful tips. thanks for the link, i'm checking it out now.

In this flat country we make due with what we have.. so instead of bombing hills, it's downhill on bridges or into tunnels.

If you're coming to Rotterdam to skate, shoot me a pm and I'll show you around the city.
