Hello!
Awesome forum! Are there anyone more from sweden than me?
I live in Helsingborg, and i know that atleast on more on here comes from sweden ( my buddy ) but are there anyone more, anyone who knows about any evnts this summer in sweden or anyone who wanna come with me and my friend whos in the area, we are going on this massive longboard quest to find the best spots in major cities in the area. Cities like Malmö, Helsingborg, Lund and much more.....
about events... i think everyone with any interest in longboarding, should come to Åre 3-8 july. world cup race, and a freeride that will be something extra i think!
there is also a competiton in högdalen/sthlm 13-14 may
I'm from Vancouver, Canada and i've always wondered what it is like to ride in Europe? Are people accepting of longboarders or are they weirded out by them? Are there local groups that go and ride together?

People are mainly accepting riders here in Sweden, but they arent realy used to us so if you meet a car or a bike or something like that the often kind of freak out a bit and things can get a bit dangerous. Cars turning or braking without warning and such, when it simply would have been better if the just kept going.
No trubbels with the law either.
And yes, people hang out in local groups and ride together. We aren't all that weird over here you know. . .
Some road trippin occasionaly occurs also. Mainly in the alps and other mountain ranges. . .
Hello!! Im living in Ronneby right now, a small town in Blekinge, south of Sweden!!
Likes, can y'all that longboard here for a long time now tell me where to find some sick slopes??
I heard about this event in Åre in july too, should be wicked!!
And hell yeah, i would be interested on some kind of quest looking for slopes in the south!
Cheers
Yeah, I'm from Stockholm Sweden. When I ride in the city most people turn their heads around and wonder what the heck is going on.. But it is becoming more and more common, which is good.
Förresten finns det nån från Stockholm som kan tipsa om några schyssta spots. Helst i city området.
