Anyone skating around Amsterdam? Any Garages? Anyone know any good weekend trips?

not much in amsterdam. Lots of cruisers but none here on the forum.

For weekends give me a kick to let me know when and come to the hague. Or you could go to almost everywere in holland for the weekend. It's not that big :P

Try Spaarnwoude, that is in the vicinity of Amsterdam or the Big Spottershill at the Floriade near Hoofddorp.

Sorry for you... I'm always anxious about that when I ride near the canals in Belgium... I always think I would jump into the water to save my board. But don't believe it actually...

I have jumped after my board before. It's wort\h it. But tha amstel is deep

was it in winter? that water looks pretty chilly today... i'm going to go back and try to fish it out with a pole of some sort. i know where it is within 2 meters. i just don't know how deep that water is. If it had floated i would have gone in after it, but it sank like a rock. lol.

It was autumm, still a bit mnippy. And the amstel is deep. At least 4 to 5 meters I guess. Better luck renting a wetsuit and try diving for it.

If you got another board or if you want to borrow one we'll be hitting a garage in The hague this weekend probably. That or we'll go DH riding in limburg. All depends a bit on the person who has the biggest car. If he's free we'll go DH riding. If not we'll hit a garage and you are more than welcome to come. We have spare boards

@Sensei: tha fact that you think amsterdam/netherlands is the same as flanders just about proofs that you are indeed kind of stupid. It's just the same as thinking the US and mexico are the same.
