For all of you who go to Western...
how often do you get to skate while going to school? By looking at some of the other treads, it seems like people around Western have a good connection of riders to skate with. Im definitely going to be looking for people once I get there in the fall. Does the rain affect your skating a lot in the Winter? I currently live in Issaquah and I heard its even rainier up in B am. It doesnt matter though im super excited to be there and meet some cool people to skate with.

I've never heard of that happening. There are ridiculous numbers of people who skate on campus and you rarely (if ever) see them get stopped. I've been stopped a few times and they just tell you to go somewhere else to skate. Also I read that it (probably) will soon be totally legitimate on campus with a few exceptions in certain areas.

I hope so. Campus is a fun place to just dork around.
I've been stopped a few times, and gotten written warnings, but no ticket yet

They posted the proposal on the school's website a while back and the article said that it would most likely get approved. It's kind of ridiculous to have a rule like that when hundreds of people disregard it everyday, and it's obvious that skating isn't posing any hazards to anyone.

I'm pretty sure it has to do with the brick paving.
Somethin about how skateboard wheels are destructive or some ####.
Whatever, fat people hurt them as much, if not more, than I do...
