Seriously, I'm bored and wanna go out and meet some people but have no means for doing so. Any parties this weekend? Events of any sort? I'm not talking skate buddies, just people that wanna hang out and stuff. Help a fellow skater get settled in a new city?

The coolest people I met in Portland were in the Multnomah(sp?) County jail. Check it out.

. Seriously though, great city with a huge skate scene. Have fun out there.

I'm in Portland, I think? There are like 7 bridges going over the river that separate the city by east/west.

The Cathlamet downhill race Eastside Longboards - Races & Events is this weekend, so I don't think may Portlanders will be in town. If you can, you should definitely try to check it out. You might even be able to score a ride off the Eastside site as well.
