Vancouver, WA. Who wants to skate?
A few hills in the hazel dell/salmon creek area. Fun, realitively fast, and some good corners to skate.
At the top of a hill at a very rapid speed there's only one place to go.
At the top of a hill at a very high speed there's nowhere to go but down.

Country store is fun. It's like 40+ then uphill. The neighborhoods by there are fun. Kinda rough, steepish hills for freeride.

yah i've been looking for a good freeride place but have not found it yet.

Re: Vancouver, WA. Who wants to skate?
Burnt Bridge Creek Trail is pretty chill, and it connects to the Discovery trail and some neighborhoods with a bit more downhill... nothing intense though.
WSUV is a lot of fun too, and the surrounding neighborhoods have a few nice hills.
Aaaand the Legacy Hospital parking garage is pretty sweet if you don't get kicked out.
Oh, and there's that hill near the end of 20th ave past Albertson's where it turns into 15th ave... super fun for night sessions when there's no traffic.

Re: Vancouver, WA. Who wants to skate?
I love to skate down Washington starting at 39th all the way downtown. Until you hit forth plain there is only one "stop" at 33rd. At night the 3 lane hill is dead all the way through downtown, awesome for carving.

Has anyone bombed the Felida hill?

Nah, the one on Seward, if you're going north out of felida. It's usually pretty busy as well, but one of my friends told me he saw someone bombing it once. I'm just curious.

Re: Vancouver, WA. Who wants to skate?
The hills up on prune hill section arnt bad, the country hills out by jones creak ( not the shity rough ones) are nice and chill, elsworth rode (usually busy till night) is really fun get rippin about 40ish off that. and Id love to bomb lakamas road when its not so busy ( and there not doing construction) the rodes a bit bad but im sure with some soft wheels ull be fine. I mean in between downtown vancouver and camas and in between the river and mill plain ( havnt done much exploring north of mill plain yet) theres hills everwhere. nice ones. just need to get out and find them, camas is holding so sexy ones for sure. just gotta get out there more.

Re: Vancouver, WA. Who wants to skate?
Officer's row has some nice steep hills going from Evergreen down to 5th. I skate the Fort and the Land Bridge all the time and think that it just gets kinda boring. A badass hill is Grand hill, curvy and steep and levels out nicely at the bottom. Then you get a beer and you go drink it at the Airfield.

Sweet... hey, my friend and I were skating WSUV earlier tonight, and around 11:30 ish we passed a group of 8 or so other longboarders. Anyone from the fish?

Re: Vancouver, WA. Who wants to skate?
Hey anyone want to have a "freeride" session in salmon creek? There's a sick freeride hill out there, and a run right drifter. Hit me up and we'll skate it.

I'd be interested, but fyi I'm not super good yet. I can toe/heelside pendy, coleman, whatever, but I really haven't tried applying any of my sliding to longer hills or anything... so as long as you'd be down with that, then I would be stoked to skate with you. My friend Cole and I have been looking for more people to skate with in the salmon creek area.

PMed you. Let's get a session going. NW 33rd Ave. KILLER street for freeriding. And there are some other fun roads around there.
