Re: Spokane, Washington Downhillers
Hey this is crimeboarder, I am new to this forum but am looking for potententila riders to make down hill racing more fun in the area. I have one brother and we are fairly good. It is just a pain to have one drive up and down the hill while the other boards. It would be nice to have more than one riding at once. I am not the type for high trafic or stupid situations but am used to going fast. I havent found many good places to board and whould like to know some new runs that are close to the south hill, good pavement and fairly long.

Re: Spokane, Washington Downhillers
Greetings--Ive just come up from San Diego and now I'm staying in Spokane Valley. I've got my flexdex and slide gloves--I'm just waiting for the streets to dry up! I've been eyeballing E. 24th Street (Veradale) for a mad roller coaster bomb.
If anyone plans on being in the area please email gea.ninja@gmail.com. My name is Graham and I am the co founder of the famous NinjaBombSquad downhill crew. I'd like to meet up with some (grown up) riders.

There are skilled riders from the east side and in central wa. There is something big going on soon, if you talk to the right people you can still get in.
later on this spring the DH season really kicks off in wenatchee, if you can deal with speed and corners then come on out.
oh yeah and northwestlongboarding for all your washington skating needs.

Re: Spokane, Washington Downhillers
The coolest hill in the spokane valley/liberty lake area is harvard road. Just go to liberty lake and drive down harvard road untill you cross over trent then keep going untill your all the way at the top of the hill. It is brand new pavement and like over a two minute run that you hit anywhere from 25 to 40 the whole way.

Re: Spokane, Washington Downhillers
.you have got to be joking me. there are tons of streets on the south hill that can get you well into 45-50 but are not safe in the daytime because of trafic. beyond that there is an extremely awesome run callerd 25 street off of glenrose but is a gated comunity road.

Bella Vista- some bad pavement in spots. really long and windy run can hit over 40 mph with no wind. It is in the spokane valley right off sullivan road at the very end of the south side of sullivan. Pretty close to cv.
In Liberty lake there is an even steeper hill. It has a windy pretty fast start then ends on an extremely steep part I have hit right around 50 before. It is mission hill just follow mission all the way to the really steep hill at the back of liberty lake.
These are the best ones I know of. anyone else no any really good hills

Re: Spokane, Washington Downhillers
Does anyone know much about the road or trafic conditions on the roads going up to the ski resorts like Mt. Spokane or 49 deg. I havent heard of anyone ever using these roads for boarding but they must have the potentioal for going fast. I do not know how the pavement is though because it is covered in snow when I go up there.

Hey man, be careful. It's gonna be awhile before WSDOT gets street sweepers out.
