Which longboard should i get for bombing hills occasionally and always looking for hills when i go longboarding with buddies but usually consists of cruising i also wanna carve every once in awhile.. The choices i selected were rayne demonseed, loaded dervish, landyachtz switch and the rayne hellcat any other suggestions or out of these which one would suffice

no its not. the apex has a flex, that means its not the best for bombing hills
i think the landyachtz evo is the best in bombing hills

I can taste my stomach acid right now...

Longboards FTW... You want something with little to no flex. The concave pattern is purely by taste and everyone has a different idea of what is the best. As far as truck mounting options, there are 4 basic ones. Top mounted, drop mounted, drop deck and drop mounted/drop deck. The ride height, stability and grip all differ between them and there are a lot of combinations of deck type and truck type. My suggestion is to get a deck that you think is cool and learn to ride to the best of your abilities as you research all the options out there. Then slowly change things out as you feel necessary to fit your style. If you plan on bombing though, as a minimum make sure it's a stiffer deck.

    Smile Re: Longboarding question

imo out of the boards you selected I would go with the Dervish. It suits you best for what you are looking at doin. Good for crusin, nice and light, and carvin is smooth as buttah. Then for your downhill purposes I would setup your dervish With some Ranadl 180s. and a lttle less flexy, flex one deck

My setup is a 44" Skull Skates Comet, Invader 183s ridden VERY loose, Powell G-Bones 97A. Any ideas on what I could do?
