Is it worth me bringing my board on a plane/ doing general delivery?
BTW If your out there any you wanna ride.... holla at a playa.
it depends when you're coming. its been rainy lately so if you're coming in the near future and you don't want to rain ride, i wouldn't recommend it. From what i know, there are 2 people on the fish that live in eugene, me being one of them.
what kind of riding do you do? Eugene has some hills, but not the greatest pavement
i'd be down to skate sometime, i'm busy during the week though with school and stuff.
its always nice to have a board.. even if you for some reason, dont use it.
better to have a board and ride a hill, than to see a hill, and not have a board

there are a lot of nice small hills, but no legendary hills. There is a really good neighbor hood to board in for downhill. all new pavement and a hundred different pathways you can take to get to the bottom. Its up at the top of Hawkin (or maybe its Hawken?) road. My favorite place is donald street in south eugene. about a mile long. First 1/4 is steep probably get around 35-45 and then the rest of the 3/4 is slight slope.
Where are you going to live in eugene?
There are a lot of people at the U of O that have boards, but they mainly only commute from what i've seen. I only have a couple friends who longboard. People in town are pretty friendly to longboarders as long as you aren't being a jerk.
There are a couple garages but nothing spectacular like in califronia. Just a 5 story at the Downtown Athletic Club which is fun when its wet outside.
