I know Danger Bay is the shizzle for anyone in the NW next weekend, but for those who aren't able to make the northern trip, our hill at Auburn will offer both fast and mellower courses, ranging from wide open to tight -- and if you don't have a slalom setup, no worries, there will be plenty of loaners on hand!
========================
Entry Fee: free
Contest Info: ALL RACERS, SPECTATORS, ATTENDEES, ETC ARE RESPONSIBLE FOR THEIR OWN SAFETY AND ANY INJURIES THEY INCURE. THIS IS AN AT-YOUR-OWN-RISK EVENT.
HELMETS ARE MANDATORY, All other pads, wristguards, slidegloves, armour, jackets, etc are highly recommended. It's a hill.
WHEN: Sunday May 18th, subject to change, stay tuned. Showing up early always a good idea (9 AM)
WHAT: Newbie clinic and multiple course slalom skateboard racing.
1st - Newbie clinic 1 hour before racing starts. Newbies will be able to keep practicing and having fun if they don't want to race, or they can signup and race.
2nd - Single lane Hybrid/General course. 3 runs per racer, best time is counted, each racer's best time will be used to determine the ranking at the end. Course will be techy, not to tight, not too loose but mixed rhythm.
3rd - Dual Lane Tight Head-to-Head.
Possibly all three of the above may occur simultaneously depending on the number of entrants.
STATUS - "Outlaw"
ETTIQUETTE - This is a "Permission" slalom spot so everyone needs to clean up ALL of their trash, preferably lets leave the area cleaner than when we started. So far everyone at CSA events have been good about this so THANKS! Lets stay on the favorable side of the land owner.
WHERE: Lakehill Estates, Auburn, Washington. More specific directions coming soon.
Re: CELL TOWER SLALOM - Auburn WA - Sunday May 18th
ok, so the Sign Up links to "that site" which I posted originally were quietly pulled by mods.
most of you know where to go to Sign Up for this event
Fishguy, i'll PM you the directions when I get them later today, I think we're trying to keep from overpublicizing the hill so it doesn't become a bust.

"More specific directions coming soon." ...now, about that.
Everyone is welcome to come out, but why watch when you can skate? I will have a few loaner slalom boards setup (Roe, PPS, Axe, Subsonic), and there should be a "newbie" course set up.. Just be sure you wear your helmet. Sargent Stryker says they're MANDATORY!
