A guy I work with is a motorcycle safety instructor with the MSF and they're leasing the road for the day just to cruise. Well it just so happens I'm a biker, so I've been invited!
I'll bring a skateboard and see if I can get a couple clips riding the skateboard down Mary with 30 motorcycles giving chase! THAT would be the ultimate Maryhill skate clip.
I've gone up Maryhill on foot a half million times, inside a moving truck about 100 times, and given rides up to the shortcut (just below the angry old lady's house) 50 times, but I've never been skitched to the top!
These guys are all old veteran motorcycle safety instructors, so I'm almost certain they're gonna balk at any idea of skitching me. I'm kinda wondering how they're gonna react to me dragging my pegs in every corner? I mean really. I'm not planning to putter along at 20mph on my bike if I get the road to myself for a day. I think the road can handle 65-80mph in some of those corners. I think.
oooh! i like! some of these dudes are already down with trying out the longboards. hell, they're already wearing helmets and leathers. i shd be able to get them on silverfish by the end of the ride, ha.
i hope somebody has a triumph triple or a buell i can try. never been on either of those.
thats a cool bike. i dont usually like the more retro style (thats what i would call that), but that has a really nice balance of flair and practicality. sometimes those dudes on wierd choppers look like they are just trying way too hard to be badass biker dudes.
my friend dylan has a buell, one of the orange and black ones, idk anything else about it, but it looks like about the fastest thing in the universe. gives ducati a run for its bad-ass-money.
