Default New Washington Resident in Chewelah

Hola
I just moved to Washington from Michigan, and I'd like to hook up with any longboarders who cruise, maybe a few parking garages or something. My wife and I both push boards. We're in Chewelah, but I'd definitely drive to Spokane regularly if need be.

anyone nearby?

there are lots of sessions in the spokane area. Let us know whenever you are in town, htere is a weekly Tuesday night session if you can make it. We have a few girls that are always looking for others to ride with too.

We are having a session on a bike trial tomorrow at about 1:30. It is about a 13 mile trip with many hills.

Be sure to check out the Kettle falls skatepark not really longboard friendly but a great park all the same. If ou are interested in going a little faster check out the Flowery Trail road (it goes to the ski area) there are a few good hills heading down away from CHewela. You should be able to get in the mid 50's

Check out board of spokane for the sessions in that area

thanks for the tips.
it does seem like most of the groups are into downhill, etc. I'm just a flatland cruiser, just pushin around, i guess im timid like that, but then again, i was in the hospital with my wife last night, she took a nice tumble and split her knee open reeeaal sick like. Deer Lake is beautiful, but man, if we're gonna take any more downhills, itll be in full gear with downhill boards, not jeans and cruisers.
Give her a couple weeks and well be back on the pavement.

Hope she heals up soon.

Not much in the way of pushing up in your neck of the woods but there are trails here in Spokane where you start 40 miles from the Idaho border and you can push to withing a few miles from the MT/ID border. Choose your length
