5 mile

Just wondering if anyone around the Tacoma WA area wanted to have a skate jam or pusher race at the 5 mile drive at pt. defiance park? i've been thinking about it for a while. lets say in mid august? tell me if your interested please.

If you can get the park to close it to cars for a race or something, we could have a sort of strange combination downhill/push race. It gets slow at parts but at others is really fast.

I'm pretty sure that on weekends parts of the road are closed off until around 10am or something. So an early morning outlaw might work out.

well. the actual drive is the only part closed to traffic but by my understanding and it's closed til 1 pm on Saturday. all we would have to worry about is runners and bikers and the only place we really got to worry about cars is at the very end near the zoo on that last bomb out of the park. there is a three way intersection but i think we could get someone to watch for us and stop traffic. But traffic in the morning is also very light.

I'm not familiar with the term outlaw. could you fill me in.

Just means that its not a closed course. No insuraunce, no haybails, no permits, etc... Basically every man for themselves.
