ello everyone. if you're interested we're gonna start organizing and getting together every friday night until winter at the parking lot of the community college here in town. feel free to drop by and chill or ride with us!

Skateboarding on public roads in the State of Washington is NOT illegal.
Skateboarding on public roads in the city of Wenatchee is NOT illegal. (it is illegal to skate on certain sidewalks and the convention center)
That doesn't mean they can't issue a ticket for other reasons.

It IS illegal to ride on the WVCC campus.
I have found that if they cannot get you for skateboarding specifically they use the catch all of "reckless endangerment" (the same charge as the shooter in a drive by). I have bee threatened with this one a couple of times.

ive been threatened with so much ####, from holding up traffic on a literally empty street at 1am, to reckless endangerment, to "IF YOU'RE ON A PUBLIC ROAD YOU HAVE TO HAVE ID ON YOU AT ALL TIMES" which is typical power-tripping BS.
oh well. sometimes ill bomb past cops and they do nothing, and i've ate it in front of them and they try and help you out. so it depends on who's in the patrol car really.

Since there is no law that exists that says it is illegal to skate in the state of washington. I can't really show you the information. You can do a search yourself.
Next time find out what law they are referring too. Better yet go down to your local police station and ask.
Like I said, they can try to pin something else like reckless endangerment.
I can't find the WVC handbook so I don't know what rules they have. Skateboarding is allowed at the major university for transportation purposes only.

at the college, ive skated there weekly all summer and no one cares unless you're grinding shortboards down the handrails or somehow destroying something else. if you're just chilling, sliding, dancing, etc no body will give you any flak.

The information regarding skateboard and transportation use at the state universities is located in the Washington Adminstrative Code not the Revised Code of Washington.

Yes I know that, but those refer to the universities, not the community colleges.
